Gonzalo Fernández Secco

Gonzalo Fernández Secco is the founding partner of Fernández Secco & Asociados and currently works in the Intellectual Property Department.
He is an Industrial Property Agent, Public Accountant and Bachelor in Administration from the School of Economics and Administration of the University of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay (Retired 07/06/2017).
In his teaching career he was assistant professor of Accounting II and Technical and Tax Legislation at the School of Economics and Administration of the Universidad de la República Oriental del Uruguay.
He is a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA), the European Communities Trade Mark Association (ECTA), the International Trademark Association (INTA), the Interamerican Association of Industrial Property (ASIPI), the Brazilian Association of Intellectual Property (ABPI), the Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriéte Intellectuelle (AIPPI), MARQUES and the Fédération Internationale Des Conseils en Propriété Intellectuelle (FICPI). He is also a member of the Uruguayan Association of Industrial Property Agents (AUDAPI), China Trademark Association (CTA) and observer at the Asian Patent Attorneys Association (APAA) (The American Intellectual Property Law Association).
